M&IW joins the annual list of top corporate event management companies for the 16th consecutive year.
Caledonia, Wisconsin (September 1, 2023) – Meetings & Incentives Worldwide (M&IW) has been named to MeetingsNet’s CMI 25 list for the 16th consecutive year. The annual report recognizes the largest full-service meeting and incentive-travel management companies focused on the US corporate market.
“I am tremendously proud of our team for continuing to elevate and spread M&IW’s reputation.” –Tina Madden, CEO, M&IW
“It is an honor to be named to the 2023 CMI 25 list,” said Tina Madden, CEO, M&IW. “The recognition is especially gratifying as we wrap up our Journey to World Class, a two-year initiative focused on continuous improvement and service excellence both internally and for our customers. I am glad to see that journey has paid off and am tremendously proud of our team for continuing to elevate and spread M&IW’s reputation.”
In the past year, M&IW’s team members have continued to showcase their expertise and cemented their status as innovative industry leaders. From speaking engagements at several high-profile industry events—including Cvent CONNECT, the MPI World Education Congress, Event Tech Live, and Pharma Forum—to facilitating lasting sustainability partnerships to reduce food waste, they have gone above and beyond for the industry and our customers.
M&IW’s medical meeting planning experts also co-authored an educational book with Pat Schaumann, CMP, CSEP, DMCP, HMCC. Titled How to Plan Medical Meetings and Events, it has been accepted as the official and sole source for MPI’s new Medical Meetings Professional certification.
“Being named to the CMI 25 list is the cherry on top of an incredible year of accomplishments,” said Tina.
About the CMI 25 List
In aggregate, the companies on the 2023 CMI 25 list reported executing close to 85,000 corporate meetings and nearly 3,000 incentive travel programs in 2022.
“The volume of meetings handled in 2022 represented an amazing rebound from 2021,” said Sue Hatch, Content Director, MeetingsNet. “These companies are not just survivors—they’re growing, innovating, and building partnerships to drive success in today’s new market conditions.”
The CMI 25 list is published in the September/October 2023 issue of the MeetingsNet digital magazine and on meetingsnet.com.
The MeetingsNet editors selected the 2023 CMI 25 companies based on several factors, including the number of in-person meetings and incentive travel programs managed in 2022 and the total number of room nights represented by those meetings and incentives. They also considered the number of full-time employees, the number of virtual meetings executed, and the percentage of the company’s 2022 revenues that came from organizing corporate meetings and incentives versus association meetings or other sources.
